Niki Lou Savich has found herself following God’s lead into several diverse and unexpected careers in her life. Despite developing a debilitating illness and suffering an early divorce by the age of 29, Niki went on to become a professional model for the likes of Gingiss Formalwear and Harley-Davidson. After several years of modeling, she attended the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics and began serving clients as a natural healthcare practitioner. Returning home to Indiana in 2005, Niki turned her attention to caring for her aging grandparents and parents.

Writing poetry had always been an important part of her life. One day after her poems turned into lyrics, she sought the help of Nashville Christian Songwriters. After several coaching experiences with NCS, Niki had more knowledge and skill as a songwriter. But it wasn’t until she began expressing her grief over the loss of both her parents within six weeks in 2021, along with losing two close friends in a short time, that the torrents of musical creativity were released in her life.

“Million Tears,” her freshman release on her own Blue Lou Records label, is a new collection of hope-filled laments and Gospel-tinged bluegrass, country, and folk songs penned to bring listeners closer to the hope of heaven.
