Petrina Pacheco

Petrina Pacheco's Story

Petrina’s story is one of sweet redemption. Raised in the church but wandering away, Petrina found herself trapped in a physically and psychologically abusive relationship. Escaping with little but her life, she became addicted to alcohol for a season and was still searching for identity and for her life’s purpose when Jesus reclaimed her heart and called her to sing for His glory.

Now boldly sharing her dynamic testimony of deliverance in churches and conferences, Petrina is devoting her life to helping others escape the tyranny of abuse and addiction. Her southern roots/rock voice delivers her emotional lyrics with freedom and joy reminiscent of Anne Wilson and Katie Nichole, while fans of Zach Williams and others blazing the trail of the “new Christian country” genre will immediately fall in love with Petrina and her debut album “I’m Not Her Anymore.”

Born in the small town of Kiln, Mississippi, Petrina began singing in bars when only 15-years old, accompanied by her mother who saw the gift of music in Petrina’s soul. Now coming full-circle to Christ after experiencing a prodigal journey, Petrina’s voice, soul-stirring lyrics and melodies, and testimony bring the Gospel to those hungry to hear the message of freedom and deliverance. petrinapacheco.com
