Get Your Songs Heard at the Song Revolution Workshop October 15 – 17, 2020

Songwriting Conference and Workshop

Is it impossible to get your songs heard in Nashville by current pro-level music industry influencers?

Not anymore!

Now you can connect with real-time top music industry influencers and get your songs heard at this one-of-a-kind three-day songwriting event happening October 15 – 17, 2020.

“Our goal is to bring you up-close-and personal to people you could never get an appointment with,” says John Chisum, NCS President. “We open up networking opportunities right along side world-class teaching and clinics with Nashville publishers, producers, and pro-level songwriters.”

What Happens at the Songwriting Workshop?

The workshop begins with registration at noon on Thursday, October 15th, and ends at noon on Saturday, October 17th. With worship at the forefront, this three-day experience is a blend of teaching, coaching, and connecting in a Christ-centered, safe environment.

“The two things people always say about the Song Revolution Workshop is that they didn’t expect it to be so worshipful and Christ-centered, and that they’ve gotten more out of the first day than at entire conferences they’ve attended in the past,” says NCS Vice-President, Robert Till.

Thursday after registration kicks off with worship and prayer led by Chisum, Till, or others from the Nashville area. From there the attendees are led through a series of short teachings geared to increasing their understanding of the real pro-level skills involved in commercial and worship songwriting.

Common reactions to the content and power of the workshop can be summed up in the testimonial of attendee Mark Boucot, who remarked, “I’ve written a lot of songs in my life, but I don’t think I wrote a real one until I attended the Song Revolution Workshop.”

Aspiring songwriters attending the workshop have two songs professionally critiqued with personal interaction from a panel of pro songwriters. Past clinicians and coaches have included Grammy winner David Baroni, multiple award-winning songwriter Kenna Turner West from Curb | Word Entertainment, Mike Harland of Lifeway Worship; John Mays, Chad Segura, Ross King & Steve Fee of Centricity Music.

“Thursday night’s BBQ dinner at Centricity Music is always a highlight,” says Chisum. “Our attendees get to visit the record label home of Lauren Daigle, Jason Gray, Carrollton, Johnny Diaz, and Andrew Peterson to hear from founder/A&R Director, John Mays. It’s always good.”

Friday is filled with more song critiques, teaching, and coaching, along with a Friday night songwriters showcase where many of the attendees can share their music. Popular CCM artists and master songwriters, such as Jason Gray, Cindy Morgan and Ginny Owens have been part of the event in the past and any artists booked for this October will be announced closer to the event.

Is the Song Revolution Workshop Right For You?

John Chisum, Robert Till and the NCS Team work hard to make the workshop meaningful for all attendees regardless of skill level or experience. The environment is always loving, supportive, and focused on helping you take the next steps in your songwriting journey.
