Mike Harland, long-time songwriter and Director of Lifeway Worship will be returning as a clinician to the Song Revolution Workshop for March 2020.
Harland, known for his charm and affable personality, is one of the Christian music business’ treasures and chief connectors. Host of many Lifeway and other organizational functions such as CCM United, Mike also writes for Daywind Music and his songs have appeared on hundreds of recordings.
“Mike Harland is one of those guys that can do it all,” says NCS VP and song coach, Robert Till. “He’s a godly man and brings a depth of character and humor to our event that we love to tap into.”
Appearing once before at the Song Revolution Workshop, Mike brings the dual perspective of songwriter and publishing executive to his presentations. “There’s no such thing as a bad song,” Harland claims. “There are only good songs and commercial songs.”
This encouraging perspective and a wealth of songwriting and publishing wisdom can be heard on Mike’s Song Revolution with John Chisum podcast episode called “What Motivates Publishers to Use Your Songs with Mike Harland (Director, Lifeway Worship).”
